Responsibilities
Our laboratory in National Neuroscience Institute aims to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in Parkinson’s disease patients.
We are looking for a Research Officer to conduct and support animal-based projects.

Responsible for animal handling, colony management, assisting in animal behavioural studies, cell culture, and basic molecule.

Perform planned experiments designed by the research team on animals including execution of complex procedures, surgical techniques and compile experimental data for analysis.

Analyse experimental data using appropriate statistical methods. Maintain good laboratory records/documentation and reports.

Perform basic laboratory duties, equipment maintenance. Ensure proper handling and disposal of biological hazards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Animal Science or related fields
- Minimum 1 year working in research
- Possess relevant animal handling certifications.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Good MS office and statistics skills
