Research Officer

Responsibilities

  The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of functions related to the research including, but not limited to

• Independently carry out the design and execution of the research project, 
• Contribute to project management, including preparing oral presentations and written report
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the laboratory
• Assist in laboratory management including ethics approval, procurement of consumables, maintaining laboratory records and safety protocols
• Perform other research-related duties related to the daily running of the laboratory as assigned by the Principal Investigator

Reguirements :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a minimum of two years of experience in a research laboratory.
• Previous experience in molecular biology and rodent animal work techniques is essential
• Experience in electrophysiology is a plus, but not necessary.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively with precision
• Meticulous in record keeping and possess good organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills as an effective team player
