Research Technologist

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to perform a variety of functions related to the research including, but not limited to

• Carry out the design and execution of the research project
• Contribute to project management, including preparing oral presentations and written report
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the laboratory
• Assist in laboratory management including ethics approval, procurement of consumables, maintaining laboratory records and safety protocols
• Perform other research-related duties related to the daily running of the laboratory as assigned by the Principal Investigator

  Requirements

• Fresh graduates with a diploma of life science or veterinary technology
• Experience in a research lab of life science is a plus, but not necessary.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively with precision
• Keen to learn new techniques.
• Meticulous in record keeping and possess good organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills as an effective team player
• Training will be provided
