Assistant Manager, Business Liaison Office
You will work closely with the Assistant Director, Business Office to formulate work plans, establish policies, and implement internal control measures. You will lead the implementation of front-end systems such as Patient Management System (EPIC) and Electronic Financial Counselling (eFC). You will assist in the roll-out of new services, policy changes and system enhancements. Additionally, you will represent the Business Office in the Eastern Community Hospital working committee, ensuring that departmental requirements are adequately captured.
Your role will involve managing staff deployment and resource optimisation across SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) sites. You are responsible for aligning and streamlining Business Office processes, ensuring a unified SCH practice.
You will provide coverage for the Business Liaison Office (BLO) Lead when needed. This includes supervising the patient liaison team, managing patient transfers and admissions, ensuring efficient staff deployment, and optimising bed utilisation to achieve high Bed Occupancy Rates (BOR). You will represent BLO in inter-disciplinary workgroups, conducting analysis of admission and discharge data, and providing regular reports on BOR trends to management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
