Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive, Infection Prevention and Control

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive, Infection Prevention & Control (IPC), to support the department in planning and implementing strategic initiatives that drive improvements in Infection Prevention, quality patient care and safety across SingHealth Community Hospitals. This role reports to the Assistant Director, Clinical Administration Office and Senior Nurse Clinician, IPC.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist to ensure that existing standards and guidelines from professional bodies and regulatory government agencies are incorporated into the IPC’s program.
• Collect and manage the data to ensure real-time IPC data, including HAI data, is accurately reported to key stakeholders.
• Support the Senior Nurse Clinician/ Nurse Clinician in preparing data for the various scorecards and work with respective clinical services to track IPC performance indicators.

• Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives to drive process improvements within the department and/or across the hospital.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Nursing, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Applied Science) or a healthcare-related degree is preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in a healthcare setting will be an advantage
• Experience in infection control, quality management, data analytics, or patient safety will be an advantage
• Good writing skills; meticulous and organised with good planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and supervise junior clerical staff
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
