Assistant/Manager, Quality Improvement Projects Facilitation
Job Description
The Assistant/Manager will work with the Assistant Director to support the facilitation of quality improvement (QI) projects, drive the QI trainings and coordinate Patient Safety & Quality activities in SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH).
The Assistant/Manager ensures that the team is able to work with stakeholders in achieving agreed upon goals and objectives through excellent project management and the use of suitable methodologies and tools i.e. QI methodologies - PDSA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc. He/she will maintain good relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders for the department. He/she is expected to facilitate QI projects and teach at QI related workshops.
The Assistant/Manager is also responsible for the systems and governance of all QI projects in SCH. The QI project cycle involves project registration, in-progress reviews, project completion, rewards disbursement, project sustainability and participation in competition or conferences.
He/she is required to drive and promote QI within the hospital through events and publicity, support the QI Domain champions and QI Trainers and Facilitators to drive QI projects uptake and training for staff.
The Assistant/Manager will participate in the sharing of PSQ initiatives through various communication channels, and in supporting the implementation and review of the outreach programmes. This includes participating in PSQ workgroups/ committees.

Job Requirements

- Competence in project management and use of quality improvement principles and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good presentation skills and ability to write well
