Physiotherapist (Research)

The research therapist is responsible for working closely with the Research and Translational Innovation Team (RTIO), relevant departments and stakeholders, and external parties of Singhealth Community Hospitals (SCH) to conduct clinical qualitative and/or quantitative research.

The following will be the key responsibilities:

1. Assist in screening, study recruitment, obtaining informed consent and conducting relevant research activities in accordance to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA). 
2. Perform research data collection and home visits according to research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and specific procedures depending on study needs. This may include but are not limited to development of exercise programs, teaching and conducting exercise sessions, administration of questionnaires, measurement of physical outcomes, patient evaluation and education.
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation, compilation, filing, and reporting data required for research study database.
4. Clean, prepare and calibrate research equipment as needed by studies and as per SOPs and SCH Infection Control policies.
5. Planning, coordination, and liaison between study participants and research team.
6. Perform other related duties additional to the work described herein.
