Resident Physician
As a Resident Physician, you will provide continuing care for patients transferred from acute hospitals, delivering medical care for sub-acute and rehabilitation patients through regular ward rounds and reviews. You will develop and update treatment plans, coordinate with allied health professionals, and plan for patients' eventual discharge back to the community. Your role encompasses maintaining medical documentation, responding to medical emergencies, and making decisions about patient transfers when necessary. You will play a crucial role in communicating with patients' families and ensuring continuity of care through liaison with primary care providers. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team of nurses, allied health professionals and administrators, you will collaborate to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Job Requirements
- M.B.B.S or equivalent Basic Medical Degree recognised by Singapore Medical Council
- If Basic Medical Degree is not recognised by Singapore Medical Council, he/she must have either SRS Diploma awarded by Academy of Medicine (Singapore) or a Post-graduate qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Medical Officer or equivalent
