Senior Assistant Manager, Business Liaison Office

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Business Office (BO) in SingHealth Community Hospitals. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth patient admissions, transfers, and financial counselling while driving operational excellence and enhancing patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning

  • Assist in developing and implementing BO policies and procedures, work instructions, and mapping processes to support operational excellence.
  • Institute internal control measures to meet performance standards.

Patient Admission & Transfer

  • Oversee and coordinate patient transfers and admissions into the hospital.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to optimise bed utilisation.


Financial Counselling & Assistance

  • Ensure the team conducts financial counselling and admission briefings for patients and their families.
  • Identify patients requiring financial assistance and facilitate appropriate support
  • Provide guidance to the team on enquiries relating to billing, admissions and collection of payments
  • Address patient feedback and resolve complex cases with professionalism


Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and analyse key indicators 
  • Prepare reports and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
  • At least 4 years of working experience, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Genuine interest in customer service and a passion for serving patients and guests
  • A collaborative team player
  • Proficient in Microsft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • This position requires working half a Saturday on a rotational basis
