Senior Assistant Manager (Finance - Subvention & Pricing)

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Finance team supporting Subvention and Pricing across SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH). This role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to support financial sustainability, reporting requirements, and key initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Subvention & Pricing

  • Prepare timely and accurate reports to MOH and management
  • Monitor and analyse subvention trends, highlighting insights and improvement opportunities
  • Support costing of services to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in national costing exercise
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and support development of business cases for new initiatives
  • Review pricing competitiveness and support fee setting

 

Business Partnering & Projects

  • Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Support negotiation of service-level agreements
  • Support the maintenance of policies, SOPs, and governance processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in key projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field; professional qualification (e.g. ACCA or CA) is an advantage
  • Approximately 4–5 years of relevant experience; healthcare experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify issues and improvement opportunities
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability, with strong attention to detail in delivering accurate work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
