Senior/ Executive, Office of Patient Safety & Quality
Job Description
Reporting to Senior/ Manager, Office of Patient Safety & Quality (OPSQ), you will assist in the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve clinical governance and quality, patient care and safety for the hospital. You will support the various teams within OPSQ, including Patient Safety, and Clinical Quality Management. You are expected to contribute to a clinical quality and safety culture within the organisation through communication, education and training activities. You will manage the Incident Reporting System by following up on incidents in their investigations and corrective actions by relevant parties. You will also participate in Quality Improvement (QI) activities to improve the processes of departments and/or the hospital.
You will support in the implementation of Ministry of Health (MOH) National Standards of Healthcare (NSHC) and Public Hospital Scorecard, and in the reporting data for the various scorecards. You will work with respective clinical services to track clinical performance indicators.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Applied Science or any other degrees in healthcare preferred
- At least 2 years of working experience. Experience in healthcare setting will be an advantage
- Meticulous and organised
- Good writing and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and supervise junior clerical staff.
- Experience in quality, process improvement, data analytics, clinical audit, or patient safety would be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in the use of SPSS or SAS is an added advantage
