Senior/ Executive, Strategic Finance

Join our Strategic Finance team at SingHealth Community Hospitals, where you will work on both Financial Reporting and Grant Management functions. This role offers diverse challenges and growth opportunities across both domains, allowing you to drive excellence in healthcare finance and grants administration.

Financial Reporting
You will assist the supervisor in performing month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing detailed financial and management reports, and developing effective accounting procedures and internal controls. Your strategic insight will be important as you support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises, monitor budget utilisation, and provide recommendations for optimal budget management.

Grant Management

You will ensure timely processing of grant claims from stakeholders while maintaining accurate grant utilisation records. Your role involves partnering with stakeholders on budget preparation for new grant applications, assisting in managing external audits, and providing support during Grant Committee meetings.

Beyond these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in system implementation initiatives and quality improvement projects, along with other work as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification
• Preferably more than 3 years of relevant working experience
• IT-savvy with advanced knowledge in Excel including VBA and in consolidation software like Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) and Power BI
• Strong in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Knowledge of SAP (advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Comfortable with stakeholder engagement
• Collaborative team player
