Job Description
The Department of Anatomical Pathology offers a comprehensive range of laboratory tests for diagnosis and clinical management for a wide variety of diseases. The range of services include routine and specialized diagnosis, frozen section interpretation, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, second opinion consultation and digital pathology. We partner with the Department of Molecular Pathology to render oncological molecular pathology diagnoses.
Job Requirements
Basic Medical Degree with post-graduate qualifications such as FRCPath, FRCPA in Surgical pathology and additional qualifications in Genetics or AP/CP Board Certification with fellowship in relevant surgical/cytology areas and germline genetics fellowship;
AM College of medical genetics AMCG qualification is advantageous; and
Those with work experience in a genetic laboratory doing germline clinical reporting will have an added advantage.
