Job Description
The Department of Sarcoma, Peritoneal and Rare Tumours (SPRinT) in SGH is looking for candidates who are highly motivated and seeking a challenging and fulfilling career as a Surgical Oncologist (Consultant). The SPRinT team comprises of highly trained surgical oncologists specializing in the management of soft tissue sarcomas, peritoneal surface malignancies, gastrointestinal and advanced intra-abdominal malignancies, and skin tumours. The team works closely with specialists from various other sub-specialties to achieve the best outcome for each of their patients.
Job Requirements
Candidates must possess basic medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications recognized by the Singapore Medical Council, and have completed specialty training in General Surgery from countries recognized by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Singapore. In addition, candidates must have more than 2 years’ post-specialist registration experience as a surgical oncologist. He/She should also possess a good record in clinical excellence and commitment to medical education. Candidates with a keen interest and/or credentials in research would have an added advantage.
