We invite suitable applicants to apply for the Double Sponsorship Programme for Diploma Nursing Students.
Attend just 1 sponsorship interview to secure your continuous sponsorship journey from Diploma in Nursing to a Nursing Degree at NUS!
SGH will provide the following to successful candidates:
- Monthly Allowance of $1,000 (Diploma) and $1,100 (Degree)
- Study Award, if eligible
- Partial tuition fee funding
Conditions of SGH Educational Sponsorship:
Eligibility:
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Current Year 2 students enrolled in the Diploma in Nursing at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) or Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) and is planning to pursue Nursing Degree at National University of Singapore (NUS)
- Strong interest & passion to develop a career in healthcare
- Good academic performance
- Good GCE 'O', 'A' levels/Diploma results with good achievements in CCA
- Good track record of co-curricular activities
- Good interpersonal skills
Applicants must:
- Gain admission to the Diploma in Nursing at NYP or NP
- Maintain good results to qualify and gain admission to Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at NUS after completing Diploma
- Pass medical examination required by NYP or NP, NUS & SGH
- Upon graduation from NUS Nursing Degree, the student will serve SGH for a bond period of up to 5 years as a Staff Nurse
