JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endo-Urologist to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate must possess expertise in state-of-the-art endo-urological surgeries, including but not limited to PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) and RIRS (Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery). The candidate should be adept at leveraging the latest technologies and techniques in endo-urology. The job scope and responsibilities include:

 

Endo-Urological Expertise

  • Perform advanced endo-urological surgeries such as PCNL and RIRS with precision and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in endo-urological techniques and incorporate them into practice.

 

Training and Development

  • Provide guidance and training to medical staff on endo-urological procedures.
  • Stay involved in continuous learning and facilitate knowledge transfer within the urology department.

 

General Urological Cases

  • Coverage of general urological cases, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Participate in ward duty, providing comprehensive care to inpatients.

 

On-Call Duty

  • Be available for on-call duties to address urgent urological cases and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the broader medical team to deliver timely and effective patient care.

 

Patient Care

  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient well-being by maintaining a high standard of care and empathy.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to provide holistic treatment plans for patients with complex urological conditions.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess basic medical degree / relevant post graduate qualification that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). He/She should be Board-Certified in Urology with subspecialty focus on Endo-Urology and have proven experience in performing advanced endo-urological surgeries. In addition, candidates should have a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
