Job Description

he incumbent will play a significant role in supporting the Institute’s further expansion of its capabilities in partnership with healthcare practitioners and experts to provide high quality allied health education and training. He/she will also be involved in liaison and providing administrative support for the Institute’s collaborations with local and overseas stakeholders, such as reputable universities and professional bodies, in offering PGAHI programmes.

 

General job duties:
•    Plan and organise various PGAHI training programmes concurrently in a timely manner to meet AHP learning needs
•    Serve and maintain as a professional key liaison with local and overseas stakeholders  
•    Manage finances and budgeting of training programmes meticulously with adherence to organisation’s financial processes
•    Support the implementation of the Institute's marketing strategies and initiatives
•    Promote the use of technological advances in AHP training to enhance learning.
•    Champion the use of technological advances in the department to enhance teaching and learning
•    Create and sustain positive working climate with stakeholders to develop quality education and training services
•    Manage stakeholders’ expectations appropriately with people-centric approach
•    Provide guidance to colleagues in maintaining collegial relationship with stakeholders
•    Devise and execute sustainable plans to foster synergistic partnerships with internal stakeholders
•    Take initiative as leads in projects to achieve department goals and operational excellence.  
•    Promote and demonstrate positive team relationship and rapport among staff in the office.
•    Adopt data-driven approach when preparing management/course reports and for making informed decisions 
•    Assist Supervisor(s) with other office administration as directed 
•    Provide strategic insights and takes actions to achieve department goals
•    Assist in monitoring dept’s performance indicators and provides timely updates on achievement of goals to relevant stakeholders
•    Ensure institute’s training information and databases is current
•    Assist Supervisor(s) in knowledge management to preserve institution information of the department
•    Analyse and translate strategic insights from stakeholders into implementable and sustainable department initiatives to achieve department goals
•    Assume the role as team coordinator of critical processes/initiatives/projects voluntarily to ensure timelines are met and relevant information is in order.
•    Undertake a pivotal role in promoting and sustaining Division cultures in the Department with enthusiasm
•    Assume other responsibilities that may be assigned by Supervisor(s)
•    Contribute to the greater successes of the Division and SGH
•    Take initiative to assume key/leading roles in committees at Allied Division
•    Lead departmental projects to further the growth of the institute

Job Requirements
•    Degree in any discipline
•    Excellent team player, able to multi-task and problem solve
•    Embrace service quality mindset when liaising and collaborating with stakeholders
•    Competent in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc. Knowledge in design softwares e.g. Adobe Photoshop will be an added advantage
•    Proficiency in (a) data analysis/and management (b) written and spoken English
