Principal / Senior / Radiographer

Job Description
You will independently perform all general and certain specialised radiographic examinations, such as ultrasound, as well as other imaging modalities of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, patient safety, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology. Your role will include supervising student radiographers, leading Quality Improvement projects and coordinating with other staff and clinicians on radiographic-related issues. You will also be responsible for quality control programmes and maintenance of imaging equipment and accessories. Depending on your area of interest and availability of roles, you can specialise in advanced imaging such as Computerised Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound or Mammography in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Requirements

• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registered with or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
• Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for the Principal/Senior Radiographer positions
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
