Job Description

The Department of Rheumatology & Immunology in SGH is looking for qualified candidates who are highly motivated and seeking a challenging and fulfilling career as Rheumatologist. The incumbent is expected to provide general rheumatology services with 24-hour multi-level coverage which includes:

  • Management of patients with rheumatic conditions in outpatient setting
  • Inpatient management of patients with rheumatic conditions
  • 24-hour interdisciplinary consultation services for the rheumatic conditions including services in affiliated hospitals

 

The scope involves duties to admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients with rheumatic, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The candidate is expected to have relevant work experiences in providing care to patients in an acute care setting.

 

Job Requirements

  • Basic medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications such as MRCP, recognized by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Completed specialty training and obtained CCT or Board Certifications, and is eligible for accreditation as a Rheumatology Specialist in Singapore
  •  2 to 3 years post-specialist registration experience as a rheumatologist
