Senior/ Executive (Medication Safety), Office of Patient Safety & Quality

You will assist and support the activities of the Medication Safety Advisory Committee (MSAC) and the Office of Patient Safety and Quality. Your job duties include:

• Investigate and analyse medication events or related data to assist the hospital’s efforts to monitor and improve the delivery and outcome of medication use processes
• Assist to develop and maintain the hospital’s medication safety programme, in consultation with various stakeholders
• Support and assist in the promotion of medication safety and safety culture
• Participate and co-ordinate quality improvement initiatives to improve the safety of medication use in the hospital
• Provide administrative and secretariat support for workgroups and committees

Requirements

• Degree in health science discipline, preferably with pharmacology modules
• Work experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Access), Tableau
