Senior Medical Laboratory Manager

Job Description

You will provide the right environment for the laboratory to perform safely and efficiently by overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations, including budgeting, equipment, staff, supplies procurement, software, and documentation. You will mentor and coach postgraduate students, identify relevant trainings for staff and manage staff career expectations and facilitate career progression. 

You will also liaise with clients such as clinicians, laboratory managers, supervisors on test services, costs, charges, reimbursements, workflows, troubleshooting, policy changes and implementation of new tests.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification, and minimum 13 years of relevant job experience
• Degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or equivalent, and minimum 16 years of relevant job experience
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
