Assistant Manager, Office for Innovation

You will be part of the SingHealth Office for Innovation to plan and implement projects that will bring about a seamless patient experience and impactful healthcare innovations.

 

You will support the Director, Innovation Programmes in pursuing relevant opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations with external organisations that will help to promote SingHealth as a thought leader in healthcare innovation.  You will support strategic planning through research on industry trends, healthcare innovations and emerging opportunities to develop a comprehensive partnerships strategy that is aligned with SingHealth’s vision and mission. You will also identify partnership opportunities and cultivate strong long-term partnerships with other healthcare providers, strategic industry players in the biotechnology and biomedical sector, government agencies and relevant for-profit and non-profit organisations that will help promote SingHealth as a thought leader in healthcare innovation.

 

You will build and maintain cross-functional collaborations with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategies, seamless execution of partnership initiatives, as well as institute the appropriate frameworks and processes to ensure due diligence in administering partnership-related initiatives and plans, including developing and executing partnership agreements and reporting outcomes of relevant signed innovation partnerships. You will partake in managing innovation grant schemes under DoIT, including administering the processes from the pre-award preparations, convening evaluation panels, to awarding of projects and post-award tracking/ monitoring of funded projects to ensure accountability of the funds.

 

You will assist to lead the communication with both internal and external stakeholders to drive the administration and implementation of the innovation grants and projects as well as facilitate successful co-ordination with stakeholders and provide secretariat functions at assigned meetings, and support in the execution of successful Innovation events/talks/projects.

 

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree holder in any discipline with preferably 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare or/and innovation.
  • Experience in the local healthcare system would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge about healthcare innovation processes and commercialisation.
  • Experience and proficiency with internal and external stakeholder management
  • Experience in using visualisation tools to present trend data
  • Knowledge and skill in process improvement, improvement methodologies and tools & techniques, such as design thinking, lean and six sigma, would be an advantage
  • Experience in project management for small to medium sized projects
  • Professional team player who has demonstrated strategic and analytic skills
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations and comfortable with change in a fluid environment and a growing organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Action oriented, highly motivated and target focused.
