You will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and compliance, supporting our mission to advance medical knowledge whilst protecting research participants and upholding regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support and help implement research compliance strategies that ensure SingHealth research meets all regulatory standards. You will work closely with the research community to facilitate compliance with the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA) and other relevant regulations whilst supporting policy development and stakeholder communications.

 

What You Will Do:

You will collect and analyse research-related legislation and regulations, assisting in the development of new policies and processes that govern research integrity and compliance matters. Your role involves preparing communication materials to clarify research compliance initiatives and developing training resources for the research community. You will manage the processing of reportable events to the Ministry of Health (MOH), ensuring timely escalation and reporting of key requirements under HBRA whilst helping establish workflows that keep SingHealth research compliant with regulations. Additionally, you will provide secretariat support at meetings, including timely dissemination of materials, accurate transcription of discussions, and tracking follow-up actions. You will also prepare newsletters and communication materials to raise awareness of research compliance requirements and provide executive support for the department, including working on ad hoc projects and engaging stakeholders to implement new initiatives.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Administrative experience in clinical research or healthcare preferred
  • Some project management experience
  • Good command of English with strong written skills for minutes and report writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines concurrently
  • Resourceful approach with initiative to problem solve
