Assistant / Manager (AMII), Office for Innovation (Contract)

You will provide support to the Innovation Council and coordinate with Priority Area Leads to drive healthcare innovation efforts across the Academic Medical Centre (AMC), fostering partnerships between internal stakeholders and external partners to build a sustainable platform for sharing and learning. As part of the Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) secretariat team, you will plan and facilitate the key meetings of AMII. You will lead the preparation of the meeting materials and ensure timely monitoring, reporting and updating of the progress of AMII projects and initiatives to the Senior Management and other key stakeholders.  

 

You will also be involved in the coordination, planning and organisation of AMII key events, such as the annual Innovation Retreat and Workshop. Additionally, you will maintain the repository of innovation projects by coordinating with the relevant offices to compile and update project information. You will be responsible for keeping an up-to-date record of AMII’s innovation resources, including assets, capabilities, programmes and partnerships and ensure that the information is up to date..

 

As a secondary role, you will support the planning and execution of cluster-wide innovation grant calls.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably with good honours
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare management, innovation funding, or any other innovation-related fields
  • Knowledge of healthcare innovation processes
  • Experienced at stakeholder management and partnering
  • Experienced in grant administration and organising webinars
  • Experienced in using data visualisation tools
  • A professional team player who can facilitate discussions among different stakeholders and drive shared goals
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations
  • Comfortable working in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
