Assistant Manager (Finance), Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to support the establishment of the Hospital's processes, policies, procedures and workflows, including financial and operational systems. Your key responsibilities will encompass several areas.
In terms of budget and forecasting, you will support the preparation and review of submissions. This involves assessing budget requests, including the evaluation of manpower requirements to meet operational needs.
Project management will be a significant part of your role. You will assess project risks and implement solutions to address challenges during the project lifecycle. This includes allocating resources efficiently, collaborating with various departments for requirement gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring deployed systems meet diverse user requirements for seamless integration.
Process development is another crucial aspect of your responsibilities. You will assist in establishing payroll governance and management processes, as well as support the development of other financial and operational workflows.
Additionally, you will provide workgroup support by offering secretariat assistance for various workgroups and managing resource requirements to facilitate effective collaboration and project execution.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or degree holder (major in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent)
- Minimum 6 years of related working experience
- Membership of a professional body, e.g., ISCA or ACCA is advantageous
- Team player with a high level of integrity, responsibility, and trustworthiness
- Adept at handling complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau, Power BI
