The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aspires to provide excellent, patient-centred care and to improve the health of the population in the east of Singapore.  We aim to develop future-ready systems to support patients’ healthcare journeys and to be an employer of choice for our staff. 

 

You will be part of the team responsible for facilitating and supporting the services planning process as well as provide secretariat services for workgroups organised in support of these activities for EGH. You will support the Head of Department/ Allied Health leads in the development and implementation of strategic and operational projects for the allied health services in EGH.

 

You will also work together with the other sections of the hospital planning team and key stakeholders to develop clinical services strategy and plans that will be translated into the physical design and development of the new hospital. This will include manpower and nesting plans to facilitate the hospital’s opening, in alignment with the overall strategic directions for both EGH and SingHealth whilst ensuring effective end-to-end hospital planning alignments between the Medical Division and the other sections of the hospital planning.

 

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience in administration and project management, preferably in a healthcare sector.
  • Experience in strategic planning and service development, with strong planning skills and budgeting knowledge is an advantage
  • Familiar with data analysis and presentation software
  • Team player who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Good analytical, presentation and writing skills as well as ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
