Join SingHealth's Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM) and play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare through the integration of clinical service, research, and education. You will be part of a team enabling the further development of Academic Medicine (AM) across Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster, working to improve outcomes for patients and the population through our Academic Clinical Programmes (ACPs).

We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to support the implementation of major administrative initiatives across our ACPs. You will work closely with senior leaders and coordinate with stakeholders across our cluster, ACPs and institutions to ensure timely implementation and consistent adoption of new structures that will strengthen our cluster-level administrative capabilities and improve systemness.

 

What You Will Do:

You will support AM activities across our 15 ACPs, focusing on research, innovation, education, and clinical programmes that advance AM. Your primary responsibility involves supporting the development and end-to-end implementation of administrative initiatives, working with the team to translate recommendations into detailed role definitions, reporting lines, governance structures, and employment frameworks. You will develop comprehensive implementation documentation including guidelines, standard operating procedures, and transition plans to enable consistent adoption across ACPs and institutions. Your role includes coordinating extensively with stakeholders such as SingHealth Systemness Office and Group Chief Medical Board's Office to ensure clarity and consistency in implementation. You will support change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption aligned with approved principles, surface operational issues through stakeholder consultation, and provide progress tracking and reporting.

 

Job Requirements:

•Good Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in change management, preferably in the healthcare, education, or research sectors

• Background in strategic planning and management

• Experience translating recommendations into operational details and developing implementation deliverables

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented and analytical

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight timelines

• Willingness to work beyond regular hours and travel overseas if required
