Chief Communications Officer, SingHealth
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to provide executive leadership and drive transformation initiatives in communications management and development at an assigned SingHealth Institution. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer at the assigned SingHealth Institution and have matrix reporting to the Group Chief Communications Officer, SingHealth. As part of the Senior Management team at the Institution, you will lead and chart the direction for the domain to support the institution’s leadership in building and promoting a vibrant culture where employees are aligned with the vision and mission of both SingHealth and the institution. You will oversee Communications, Patient Experience and Development. Your responsibility includes providing counsel to the institution’s leadership on corporate positioning, reputation management, public communications, and crisis communications. You will also provide strategic directions for patients’ feedback and engagement, service culture and behaviour, fundraising initiatives and donor engagement, community outreach and corporate citizenship.
In addition, this role will require you to oversee and lead a Shared Service at the SingHealth cluster level.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Communications (preferred)
- Minimum 15 years' experience in public affairs communications within a service-oriented organisation, preferably healthcare, with at least 10 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record in brand management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in managing communications and public relations in a public service agency or large corporation a definite advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills; capable of leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation, demonstrating effective teamwork
