Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd

Deputy Director, Office for Service Transformation

Job Category:  Administration
Posting Date:  18 Aug 2026

Join SingHealth's Division of Innovation & Transformation and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery across Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster. The Office for Service Transformation (OST) drives programmes and projects that address the fundamental challenges of delivering world-class patient care through efficient use of limited resources — and the work you do here will have a direct and meaningful impact on patients, clinicians, and the broader healthcare system.

We are seeking a Deputy Director to co-lead the Impact Assessment Unit (IAU), a specialised unit focused on evaluating healthcare innovations, while supporting OST's broader portfolio of service transformation projects and new models of care. This is a senior role that calls for someone who is equally comfortable working and leading at the strategic level by rolling up their sleeves to drive complex, multi-stakeholder programmes to successful outcomes.

What You Will Do:

You will co-lead the IAU, overseeing the unit's resources — including manpower and funding — as well as its project pipeline. This involves managing the team's work in triaging innovation projects for further support, evaluating the impact of healthcare innovations, and providing healthcare domain insights where relevant. You will support the full project lifecycle across both IAU and OST, from analysis, planning, and conceptualisation through to development, validation, implementation, and adoption.

Working closely with the Head of Department and Project Leads, you will assist in providing updates — particularly on healthcare delivery and implementation considerations where relevant — and making recommendations to Core Leadership, and other senior leadership forums to facilitate timely and well-informed decision-making. You will also support stakeholder engagement and change management efforts, driving communications through various channels to ensure the smooth running of programmes and sustained progress.

Building and maintaining strong partnerships with collaborators including Institutes of Higher Learning and national agencies is an important part of this role, as is providing secretariat support at task forces, departmental meetings, and senior management forums as required. You will be expected to proactively scope projects, evaluate performance against set targets, and propose and implement improvement action plans where needed.

  • A team player with strategic and analytical skills, critical thinking skills and ability to think outside of the box.
  • Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations and comfortable with change in a fluid environment and a growing organisation.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
