We are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to oversee the technology and infrastructure portfolio in SingHealth, in alignment with SingHealth’s Digitalisation Strategy, as well as Ministry of Health and Synapxe Health IT plans.  You will oversee the strategic planning and management of Medical Device & Systems (MDS) and Operational Technology (OT), while making critical decisions on technology infrastructure investments and upgrades to enhance SingHealth’s operational excellence and business objectives.

 

You will provide executive leadership to SingHealth’s institutions by defining technology strategy and landscape, envisioning how technology can be utilised across the cluster. This involves staying informed about new technological trends and emerging technologies in the healthtech industry, assessing their relevance and impact on our operating environment, and recommending innovative solutions that may offer a competitive advantage to SingHealth’s operations. The role also includes driving strategic partnerships to facilitate the adoption of advanced solutions, overseeing the performance of infrastructure, MDS and OT service suppliers, and developing an agile infrastructure that supports mobility. Additionally, you will ensure that the technological environment remains resilient and adaptable to effectively support SingHealth’s operations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent, with at least 15 years of IT management and leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and deep understanding of current and emerging technologies. 
  • Visionary with proven track record in developing and implementing technology strategies and infrastructure aligned with business goals.
  • Has experience in leading large-scale organisational transformation initiatives.
  • Proven change management expertise at both organisational and individual levels.
  • High energy, self-confidence, and enthusiasm, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels within the organisation.
