Join Singapore Cord Blood Bank (SCBB), Singapore’s first and only community cord blood bank. As a non-profit organisation, we serve the needs of patients with blood cancers and immune disorders by providing quality cord blood units for life-saving transplants.
We are looking for a Donor Coordinator to drive donor recruitment and support the end-to-end lifecycle of cord blood banking services. In this role, you will contribute to the building of a national public inventory of cord blood units which meets public transplantation criteria, as well as family cord blood storage programme that supports the appropriate use of available resources in optimising operational costs.
What You Will Do:
You will educate and recruit expectant parents through face-to-face engagement, phone calls, online channels, and outreach activities, including obtaining consents and providing after-sales support. You will transfer Cord Blood Units (CBUs) from KKH, manage documentation and data entry in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and replenish CBU kits to Collection Centres. You will also handle walk-in and phone/E-mail enquiries and participate in public outreach events.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science or related field in healthcare with at least 2 years of related work experience
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms
- Ability to speak a second language will be advantageous
- Outgoing with strong people skills, empathy, and mature disposition
- Independent, self-motivated and outcome-driven
- Proactive and meticulous with strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays
