Executive, Office for Innovation (Contract)

We are seeking an Executive to support the Division for Innovation and Transformation (DOIT) in planning and implementing projects that enhance patient experience and drive impactful healthcare innovations. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve these goals.

 

Your primary responsibilities will include providing grant management support and administrative assistance for programmes and initiatives under the Office for Innovation and/or Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII). Specifically, you will:

 

a) Schedule, prepare, and disseminate publicity materials for grant call launches.

b) Execute grant evaluation processes to ensure fair funding allocation.

c) Ensure timely award of funding and completion of grant calls.

d) Monitor funded projects post-award to track milestone fulfilment and identify promising innovations for further development.

e) Liaise with co-funders/sponsors to ensure timely submission of reports and post-award requests to relevant stakeholders and senior management.

f) Support the division in soliciting and applying for external funding to support the Innovation domain.

g) Assist in formulating and implementing various AMII innovation programmes and initiatives, focusing on culture building, human capital co-development, test bedding, adoption and scaling, emerging technologies, and data.

h) Support the organisation of engagement forums to promote innovation culture and facilitate stakeholder collaborations.

i) Assist in executing strategic plans, business process innovation, and communicating projects to stakeholders.

j) Provide secretariat support at innovation strategy-related workgroup meetings, senior management meetings, and other assigned meetings to drive project implementation.

k) Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) and/or supervisor.

 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Proficiency in Project Management is an advantage

• Prior experience in project facilitation, grant administration and management, and business process innovation is advantageous

• Critical thinking skills and willingness to think creatively

• Ability to handle complex, ambiguous, and challenging situations comfortably in a fluid environment and growing organisation

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Action-oriented, highly motivated, and target-focused team player
