You will support the Division of Service Innovation & Transformation (Impact Assessment Unit) in the impact assessment of health innovation projects to guide stakeholders in decision-making.
Job Description
- Conduct literature reviews to evaluate the potential value of health innovations
- Assist in preparation of evaluation reports for innovation teams and management reporting
- Extract data from institutional databases and published literature
- Perform data analysis and data wrangling from complex data bases
- Manage impact assessment projects from start to end with guidance (i.e. Develop research objectives and study design, perform data extraction and data collation, conduct data modelling, perform statistical analysis and engage and collaborate with various stakeholders)
- Perform health technology assessments (cost analysis, cost effectiveness analysis, cost utility analysis or budget impact analysis) with guidance
- Assist in drafting research abstracts and manuscripts
- Assist in preparation of PowerPoint presentations to various stakeholders
- Support secretariat and administrative functions pertaining to the Impact Assessment Unit
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Master’s Degree in Public Health is preferred but not necessary.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience. Candidates with clinical background and/or some relevant experience within the academic / research /healthcare/public health sector will be preferred.
- Adept at working with data, including processing raw data to visualise trends and deciphering patterns
- Experience in various quantitative and qualitative research methods preferred. Experience in conducting health technology assessments will be beneficial.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel VBA or R would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a team, with dynamic reporting lines and multiple stakeholders
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
