Executive (Simulation), Office of SIMS, 2-year contract
You will play a crucial role in coordinating medical simulation education at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation (SIMS). In this position, you will collaborate with various departments to integrate different types of medical simulation into existing healthcare curricula, develop new courses and educational initiatives, and evaluate all simulation-related sessions and programmes.
You will provide administrative support for workshops, daily operations, and logistics. Your responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting training and medical equipment, as well as programming, testing, and applying educational scenarios in collaboration with faculty. You will be expected to monitor medical aspects of training scenarios and adjust simulation equipment based on participants' actions.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Biomedical Engineering
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Organisational and time management skills to follow through workshops to completion.
- Physical ability to lift, move and set up simulation lab equipment.
- The incumbent is expected to work on some weekends to support workshops
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving and expanding environment
- Prior working experience in the healthcare simulation environment will be an advantage
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human physiology will be an advantage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of audio visual will be an advantage
