As the Human Resource (HR) Lead/ Chief Human Resource Officer, you will direct the development and implementation of human resource strategies to build a motivated, engaged and high performing workforce at EGH. You will report to the Pro Tem Chief Executive Officer, EGH and have a matrix reporting line to the Group Chief Human Resource Officer, SingHealth. 

 

You will oversee all human resource functions, including manpower resourcing and planning, talent acquisition and development, employee and industrial relations, talent management and succession planning, leadership development, organisational design, staff retention, rewards and performance management, as well as change management. As EGH is currently still in the pre-operational phase, the scope will also extend to the planning and implementation of workforce build-up, deployment and nesting.

 

Additionally, you will manage all HR functions for SingHealth-employed staff hosted at EGH. The role requires close collaboration with heads of departments, Hospital Planning Committee leads, institution heads, and other stakeholders to provide HR support that enables integrated, quality patient care across SingHealth institutions, including EGH.
 


Requirements

•    Degree-qualified, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in HR
•    At least 15 years’ relevant experience, with minimum 10 years’ experience in a management position 
•    Prior work experience in the public healthcare industry will be an advantage
•    Experience in stakeholder management at senior levels and the ability to work with all levels of staff
•    Proven track record in leadership, communications and change management
