As the Manager in the Office of Compliance, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding SingHealth's integrity and reputation by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Working with the Head of department, you contribute to maintaining public trust in our healthcare system and fostering a forward-thinking compliance mindset.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the operations of the SingHealth Cluster Office of Compliance, ensuring it provides expertise, monitoring, and offers critical oversight on compliance matters
- Developing and implementing Cluster Compliance programmes, projects and initiatives
- Driving strategic alignment through collaborations with Cluster and Institutional stakeholders and providing advisory services on compliance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve risk management objectives
- Supporting SingHealth internal special reviews and committees to ensure thorough investigation, performing root cause analysis and improving governance of processes
- Using data analytics to perform continuous monitoring projects and compliance reviews for the Cluster
- Ensuring regular updates on cluster compliance to Senior Management and the Board
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline with at least 8 - 10 years of working experience
- Professional qualification such as CIA/ CISA/ CA/ CRMA/ CFE is preferred
- Experience, knowledge and skills in the areas of audit, risk and compliance is preferred. Prior healthcare industry experience will be advantageous
- Experience in performing special reviews and forensic investigations is preferred
- Practical experience and working knowledge of risk assessment, internal controls, and adoption of data analytics is preferred
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and work with staff of all levels
- Team player with strong analytical and conceptual thinking ability
