Medical Laboratory Technologist, Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

We are looking for a highly motivated medical laboratory technologist to join our dynamic team at Eastern General Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clinical diagnostics and commitment in delivering quality patient care.
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will:

Perform routine laboratory analysis on biological specimens using a wide range of specialized equipment according to standard operation procedures in the Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank or Anatomical Pathology Laboratory.

Ensure accurate laboratory test results are reported within turnaround time.

Perform function check and equipment maintenance.

Monitor inventory and supplies for smooth running of daily operations.

Participate in quality assurance and management activities according to established policies and procedures.

Work closely with laboratory supervisors to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

Recognised degree in Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Medical Technology or equivalent.

Candidates with significant years of relevant work experience will be preferred and can be considered for senior positions. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

May be required to work on rotating shifts.
