Principal Analyst, Machine Learning, Office of Insights and Analytics

You will be leading the development and deployment of Generative AI (Gen AI) applications, including voice-to-text functionalities, within SingHealth. You will establish and implement strategic plans for these AI projects, ensuring that they align with the organisation's goals and healthcare standards. You will need to have a strong background in software development / cloud technologies and will be required to develop Gen AI tools to provide expert advice and operational for strategic Gen AI products and initiatives. You will need to communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

You will also provide and facilitate comprehensive training programs to enhance Gen AI proficiency among staff, to promote AI literacy and build a culture of continuous learning and innovation. This includes developing training materials, conducting workshops, and supporting staff in the practical application of Gen AI tools in their daily work. You will help transform the organisation into a leader in AI-driven decision-making and innovation by advancing AI literacy and promoting a culture of curiosity and exploration.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Information System, System Engineering or related quantitative disciplines. 
• Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines will be an added advantage
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience in project management and technical solutions delivery, preferably in AI application development
• Preferably with prior working experience in public healthcare 
• Experience with the following:
  • Front-end development using React and back-end development using Flask
  • CI/CD platforms and automated deployment processes
  • Cloud technologies, specifically Azure and AWS
  • Other AI/ML frameworks and tools
• Preferably with working knowledge of: 
  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementation
  • Healthcare regulations and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
