Research Associate, SingHealth Translational Immunology and Inflammation Centre

You will support the day-to-day laboratory procedures of the SingHealth Translational Immunology and Inflammation Centre (STIIC) and ensure smooth lab operations. You will process human tissue and blood samples for storage, order reagents, maintain the inventory usage log, ensure the upkeep of instruments and support lab members in their projects. 

Your primary project involves deep immuno-phenotyping and immuno-monitoring of peripheral blood and tissue microenvironment of autoimmunity (adult and pediatric) patients. The project will use several cutting edge multiplex technologies, such as the Time of Flight Mass Cytometry (CyTOF), multiplexed immuno-histochemistry, next-generation sequencing (NGS), single-cell RNA sequencing and Spatial Transcriptomics.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or equivalent fields
• At least 1 to 3 years’ experience in an immunology research laboratory, preferably with knowledge of flow cytometry
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to deliver against tight deadlines
