Job Description:

 

You will be responsible for undertaking translational immunology research projects that focus on deep immunophenotyping and immunomonitoring of the periphery and tissue microenvironment affected by diseases or pathologies of interest. This will involve utilising data from cutting-edge multiplex technologies such as Time of Flight Mass Cytometry (CyTOF) and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to develop new methodologies for systems immunology, including organoids and data curation of mass cytometry datasets for biomarker detection in human diseases.

 

In addition to research activities, you will play a key role in developing and designing experiments, collaborating and communicating with stakeholders, and preparing periodic reports and end-of-project analyses as part of the study. Furthermore, you will contribute to grant project report writing and work towards research publications and presentations in scientific conferences, aligning with the department’s goals for research communication and education.

 

Job requirements:

  • PhD in Immunology or related fields
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an immunology research laboratory, with experience in handling multi-parametric flow cytometry, mass cytometry and cell culture
  • Familiarity with current software and data systems including, but not limited to, R Studio, FlowJo, and other visualisation platforms
  • Critical thinker with good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with researchers and clinicians
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver against tight timelines
