About the Role
Reporting to the Academic Chair of the Pathology Academic Clinical Programme, you will lead a broad portfolio spanning specialist manpower planning, blood bank laboratory integration, health screening support, digital pathology adoption, and new service development. You will work closely with senior clinical leaders, medical boards, and cross-institutional stakeholders to build a sustainable, high-quality, and future-ready pathology service for Singapore.
What You'll Do
- Lead cluster-wide specialist manpower strategy, deployment, and succession planning across SingHealth institutions
- Drive the integration and harmonisation of blood bank laboratory services, including standardisation of policies, workflows, and information systems
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for laboratory services supporting population health and screening programmes
- Develop and execute service strategies for new and expanded pathology services, with clear KPIs and outcome tracking
- Advance the digital pathology roadmap, supporting AI-assisted diagnostics and data-driven quality improvement
- Manage staffing, budget planning, and daily operations for SIPS in accordance with Finance and HR policies
Job Requirements:
- Degree in healthcare, biomedical sciences, public health, health administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in healthcare management is preferred
- At least 12 years of experience in healthcare operations, pathology services, or cluster-level service management, with a minimum of 6 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated experience in manpower planning, service development, and large-scale healthcare transformation
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
