Senior Assistant Director (Epic Research Enablement & Client Management), Office of DGCMIO(Research)
Make an impact on the future of healthcare research. SingHealth is Singapore’s largest public healthcare cluster, and we are building a research and data ecosystem that empowers innovation, accelerates discoveries, and improves patient outcomes. We are seeking a Senior Assistant Director to lead Epic research enablement and client management for our research data and data science platforms.
This is a unique leadership role for an experienced professional with the vision to align digital capabilities with research priorities, the skill to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and the drive to deliver operational excellence.
About the Role
You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of SingHealth’s Epic implementation for the Research Workgroup, ensuring that research workflows are seamlessly integrated across institutions in compliance with policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary liaison between clinical, research, IT, and governance stakeholders, driving the strategic adoption, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Epic for research purposes.
In addition, you will oversee client management for SingHealth's research data and data science platforms, supporting researchers, clinicians, and staff across our 12 institutions to maximise their research impact. This includes managing the SingHealth Data Science Innovation and Research Platforms (SDIRP), analytics environments, and high-performance compute resources. You will focus on empowering research teams by enabling secure, timely, and governed access to these platforms, providing guidance and support to enhance their research capabilities, fostering strong partnerships across institutions, and optimising platform use to enhance research quality, efficiency, and impact.
You will play a critical role in balancing diverse stakeholder needs, leading change management efforts, and ensuring operational excellence in service delivery, onboarding, and resource allocation, ultimately helping our talented researchers and clinicians achieve breakthrough discoveries that benefit patient care.
