Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Collaborations Liaison
Join SingHealth's Academic Collaborations Liaison (ACoL) team, which works at the intersection of clinical services, education, research, innovation, building bridges between SingHealth and institutes of higher learning (IHLs) and other academic healthcare systems to advance Singapore's healthcare and academic mission.
We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to support the development and implementation of collaboration frameworks with SingHealth's academic partners. You will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders across institutions to facilitate meaningful, well-structured partnerships that drive shared goals forward.
What You Will Do:
You will support the Academic Collaborations office and its Steering Committee (SC) in implementing overall collaboration strategies with academic partners, including IHLs and academic healthcare systems. This involves facilitating and providing management support on collaboration initiatives and projects - coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep track of project progress. You will also plan and coordinate engagement events and activities in partnership with academic institutions and key SingHealth stakeholders.
A significant part of your role involves serving as secretariat for Academic Collaborations Council and collaborations steering committee meetings with academic partners. This includes the preparation of agenda, writing of minutes, following up with the action parties and monitoring the progress of the sub-committees and domains. You will also assist in preparing presentation materials on strategic and partnership matters and work with the Legal department on collaboration agreements where required.
You will also facilitate and support academic collaborations planning and administration across areas such as partnership support and administering the adjunct appointments and visiting academicians framework to track appointee achievements and facilitate renewals and new appointments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Management/ Life Sciences/ Engineering/ Arts with at least 4 years of relevant experience
- Background in strategic partnership, stakeholder and/ or project management will be advantageous
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin to communicate with international stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders of all levels, including senior management
- Team player and strong collaborator
- Meticulous with high degree of initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
