We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to support patient engagement programmes and coordinate initiatives that bring authentic patient voices into healthcare decision-making. You will work closely with the Assistant Director to expand our patient advocacy network and manage flagship events that celebrate and connect patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

 

 

What You Will Do:

You will support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of members for the SingHealth Patient Advocacy Network (SPAN), coordinating activities that amplify patient voices across the cluster and working with Patient Support Groups to strengthen community connections. Your role involves extending SPAN's outreach through new social media communication channels and collaborating with SingHealth institutions to establish institution-based SPANs. You will co-manage flagship initiatives including the annual Singapore Health Inspirational Patient & Caregiver Awards and Singapore Health Patient Advocate Connection, overseeing end-to-end project delivery from planning and publicity to vendor management, stakeholder liaison, and event execution. Additionally, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups to integrate patient perspectives into improvement initiatives, manage patient feedback through hotline and email channels, represent the department in organisation-wide initiatives, and work with local and international counterparts to ensure SPAN’s relevance.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience in service operations, partnerships and outreach, event and project management, and/or customer service
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative and resourceful team player
  • Meticulous with ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
