Senior Assistant / Manager, HSRC

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Assistant/Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team at the Health Services Research Centre. You will work alongside researchers, clinicians and operational leaders to co-develop impactful solutions that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes in Singapore and the region. In this role, you will conduct and organise project-related meetings as well as prepare project status and progress reports. You will be involved in multi-institutional research grant management, which includes grant submissions, preparing grant variations, setting project timelines and milestones, and tracking progress for reporting to Principal Investigators (PIs), steering committees and/or funding agencies as appropriate. You will also assist the PIs in their research and support the Director/Deputy Director in setting up and managing new and existing pillars within the academic medical centre (for example, Systems Science Core) to support health services and population health research.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Public Health, Mathematical Sciences, Biostatistics, Systems Engineering, Business Administration or any related science/engineering discipline or equivalent. A good degree with strong track record in project management would also be considered.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in conducting or managing health services or clinical research projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with database, analytics, systems modelling, optimisation and/or statistical software would be an advantage (for example, R/Python, Stella, Flexsim)
  • Experience in working with large operational/research healthcare datasets would be preferred
  • Independent worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills
