Senior Assistant / Manager, HSRC

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join SingHealth’s Health Services Research Centre (HSRC). At HSRC, you'll be part of a team that is at the forefront of health services and population health research in Singapore. You'll work alongside leading clinician-researchers and cross-institutional collaborators, gaining exposure to impactful, large-scale research that shapes healthcare policy and practices.
What you’ll be doing
You will support Principal Investigators (PIs) and multidisciplinary project teams in the planning, coordination, execution, and administration of Health Services Research (HSR) projects within the Academic Medical Centre. You will support the end-to-end management of research projects, including project planning, milestone tracking, budget planning and monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and research grant administration and management.
Your responsibilities also include organising and facilitating project-related meetings, maintaining accurate project documentation and project registries, and preparing timely project updates. You will assist PIs with literature searches and evidence synthesis, preparation of basic data analysis and progress reports, and development of abstracts, posters, conference presentations, and manuscripts for publication.
In addition, you will support stakeholders in the development, coordination, and management of new and existing research pillars within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre to advance health services and population health research initiatives.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Mathematical Sciences, Biostatistics, Systems Engineering, Business Administration or any related science/engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting multidisciplinary and multi-institutional research projects, including stakeholder coordination, project tracking, and reporting
- Familiar with research governance processes such as grant administration, ethics submissions, project documentation, and regulatory reporting
- Candidates with strong project management experience in data science, healthcare analytics, digital health, or healthcare IT environments will be preferred.
- Experience working with large-scale operational, administrative, or research healthcare datasets; preparing reports, presentations, manuscripts, posters, or conference materials would be advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with databases, analytics platforms, and statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI would be advantageous.
