Senior Assistant Manager (Education), Group Allied Health

Job Category:  Administration
Posting Date:  18 Sept 2026

Join SingHealth's Group Allied Health (GAH) team and play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Allied Health education across Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster. You will be part of a team committed to building a vibrant academic medicine culture, supporting Allied Health Professionals to grow as educators and practitioners, and ensuring that education programmes meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.

We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager (Education) to drive the planning and implementation of strategic education initiatives across SingHealth institutions. Working closely with the Group Chief Allied Health Professional, senior leaders, and Education Leads including the Chair of the College of Allied Health (CAH), you will coordinate a broad portfolio of education projects and programmes that support Allied Health Professionals at every stage of their careers.

What You Will Do:

You will plan, develop, and implement strategic education workplans and programmes for Allied Health across the cluster, managing projects from inception through to evaluation. This includes engaging stakeholders to build support, monitoring project budgets, preparing reports, and using data analytics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. You will be expected to manage between five and seven projects annually, ensuring timely delivery even when priorities compete.

In the area of programme development, you will support Education Leads and Programme Directors in enhancing Allied Health education offerings, including residency programmes for advanced skills training, the Professional Qualification Programmes (PQP), and the Continuing Professional Development Programmes (CPDP). You will independently manage programme operations, maintain compliance records, and analyse feedback data to prepare comprehensive reports for Programme Directors.

You will also coordinate the programme accreditation process in collaboration with CAH Executive Committee members, managing submission reviews for compliance, liaising with domain and pedagogy experts, facilitating feedback resolutions, and maintaining the CAH accredited programme registry. You will work with SingHealth Academy to plan for programme approval presentations and ensure accredited programmes are submitted in a timely manner.

Beyond accreditation, you will take end-to-end ownership of regular CPDP such as Building a Portfolio training, Career Conversations workshops, Education Mentoring Programme, and the CHEER Programme. This includes developing publicity strategies, managing registrations, preparing materials, analysing participation trends, and implementing improvements to strengthen programme effectiveness. You will also facilitate partnerships with academic universities to broaden the reach and quality of Allied Health education.

Supporting the recognition of Allied Health educators is another important dimension of this role. You will collaborate with SingHealth Academy to identify platforms for showcasing outstanding educators, coordinate nominations for education-related awards, and help document and maintain records of educators' achievements.

On the administrative side, you will develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for education, write reports and proposals, plan and coordinate meetings, events, and retreats, and support relevant committees. You will also assist in mentoring junior team members, including Senior Executives and Senior Associate Executives, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, with a background in administration and project management, preferably in a healthcare-related setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, proposals, and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret programme data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative and resourceful, with the confidence to engage stakeholders across different levels and build productive working relationships
  • Meticulous, positive, and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
