Senior Executive, Centralised Institutional Review Board (Contract)

What you will do:

As a Senior Executive, you will provide the SingHealth Centralised Institutional Review Board (CIRB) with secretariat support to ensure its effective and efficient operations. You will manage routine CIRB functions, prepare management reports, facilitate department meetings, and coordinate projects related to the improvement of CIRB processes and regulatory compliance.

You will review IRB applications for completeness, manage communications with Principal Investigators, coordinate requests for clarification, screen and process amendments, annual continuing reviews, protocol deviations, and serious adverse events.

You will also interpret and apply ethical principles applicable to human biomedical research, serve as a resource for researchers on ethics-related matters, and develop and regularly update relevant forms, guidelines, policies, and educational materials.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a biomedical-related field
• Minimum 2 years' work experience, preferably in a healthcare-related industry
• Good command of English and effective meeting minutes writing skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Resourceful self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
