The SingHealth Duke-NUS Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM) oversees and drives the development of Academic Medicine in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). As the catalyst and enabler for Academic Medicine implementation across the AMC, JOAM focuses on establishing and facilitating Academic Health System strategies, engaging and stewarding partnerships, and enabling resources sustainability and performance optimisation.

We are seeking a Senior Executive to support the department in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders from SingHealth, Duke-NUS, and Duke Health, coordinating strategic projects, managing key governance platforms, and providing analytical support to advance Academic Medicine objectives across the AMC.

 

What You Will Do:

You will coordinate strategic projects, manage resource allocation, and monitor project timelines to ensure deliverables are met on schedule. This includes preparing meeting minutes, tracking action items, conducting data analysis and research, and maintaining databases to support accurate reporting.

A significant part of your role involves secretariat and governance support, where you will coordinate key platforms including Academic Council meetings and AM Coordination meetings. You will facilitate agenda development, liaise with stakeholders across multiple institutions, and ensure timely distribution of materials and follow-up actions.

You will also contribute to annual work plan processes by collaborating with the Assistant Director and Senior Manager to develop the JOAM annual work plan, manage the Academic Clinical Programme (ACP) planning cycle, and align with SingHealth HQ's corporate planning process. Additionally, you will support process improvement efforts and may occasionally be called upon to support ad hoc strategic assignments requiring cross-functional coordination.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Good Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, education, research, or strategic planning, with demonstrated project coordination capabilities

  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred, and experience with project management software is advantageous

  • Detailed-oriented and analytical

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines

  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse organisational cultures and perspectives
