Senior Executive, Office of SingHealth Academy (1-year contract)
SingHealth Academy sits at the heart of healthcare education and professional development within Singapore's largest public healthcare cluster. If you are someone who finds meaning in enabling others to learn and grow — and who appreciates the rigour of sound financial stewardship — this is an opportunity to contribute to something that matters.
You will be part of the team implementing and executing initiatives on funding matters, serving as the liaison officer for the administration, management and disbursement of Education Funds in support of SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre's (AMC) initiatives. The role calls for a strong working relationship with multiple stakeholders to administer and coordinate the planning, preparation, review and approval of funding requests and grants.
What You Will Do:
Your primary focus will be on the financial management and administration of Education Philanthropic Funds. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to coordinate the planning, preparation, review and approval of education funds, serving as a liaison in the preparation of fund requests and reviewing them for alignment with the Donor's Gift Purpose and Education's strategic directions.
You will track fund requests, awards and utilisation, and create reports as required. This includes preparing grant communications such as notification emails relating to specific funds, monitoring and coordinating the administration of post-award funding to ensure that timelines, objectives, budgeting and administrative policies and procedures are followed, and preparing stewardship reports — all in support of strong corporate governance in the administration and management of Education Philanthrophic Funds.
You will also review fund request forms and verify them against Gift Purpose before submission for approval, check financial schedules and final reports to ensure governance to each grant's terms and conditions, and prepare the required documentation for auditing purposes.
Beyond fund administration, you will undertake assigned projects contributing to the department's growth, and take on projects arising from the department's new initiatives. You will also provide secretariat support for meetings, including minutes writing and coordinating and scheduling with stakeholders and partners.
